The Sphere of Dialogue

Within the on-going research project "The Art of Dialogue", Dr. Jurij Alschitz
has developed a new way of rehearsal and self-preparation called "The Sphere of Dialogue".

After the "Vertical of the Role", which is today a well-known method for self-preparation of the
actor, proposing a monological structure, his research continues with the dialogue as sphere.
This implies the approach, that the "I" exists only in complement with the "Other".

Teacher: Christine Schmalor
Assistant: Apostolos Apostolides

Parallel, the artistic director Prof. Dr. Jurij Alschitz will continue his line of research in a laboratory.

International Masterclasses for Directors and Trainers

Will mediate new teaching and rehearsal methods. It is a theatre research in dialog with directors
and teachers, which leads to a long-term further development of the subject,
which can directly be applied in the practical work. Three masterclasses will cover three themes,
which build upon each other – how to lead and how to teach the Art of Dialog:

The number of participants is limited! We suggest early application with CV and a Letter of Motivation!
The participation in all 3 modules is obligatory.

Please get in touch with us for further information.
